Diapering tips: Never keep your baby wet!

The newborns are the precious ones and apple of eye for their near and dear ones. No one is perfect when it comes to babies and taking care of them, but everyone tries their best.
The main question that arises for parents is when these tiny tots wet their diapers or clothes for that sake. The question of concern is WHAT TO DO?

IS KEEPING THE BABY IN WET DIAPER BAD?
In cases where a child poops, it is never recommended to leave the diaper for too long, because it may lead to skin rashes and irritation, so you better change it the moment you know about it. But nowadays with highly absorbent diapers ,one can consider to keep it on for a while (only in case where the baby has peed) that too if the baby is fast asleep, else you can change it whenever you seem like changing it.

IF WET DIAPER IS KEPT FOR TOO LONG: WHAT HAPPENS?
The wet diapers when kept for too long, may result in diaper rash. Also the bacteria from poop may cause irritation and might also lead to infection in bladder, especially in girls.

DURATION FOR THE DIAPERS TO BE KEPT ON BABIES?
The overnight diapers are made with high absorbent capacity and keep child dry for long, sometimes even upto 12 hours. While there are onesies as well, which are for single use and are to be changed after single use.

They often tend to surprise people around them by doing unexpected things, which often includes holding their heads up, which is without any support. How do babies learn to hold their heads up? The tiny tots gain the ability to hold their heads straight up at the very time when they build up the upper body and neck strength. Which explains the reason for importance of tummy time, as it helps in making the baby more mobile and active.
