A Baby's sleep: all you need to know.

Sleep begets sleep. The new parents don't believe this notion but a healthy sleeping routine including the nap times is a must for the newborns. The day naps are an essential part of their everyday routine, because a tired baby might find it hard to sleep peacefully at night time because of over tiredness, which in result will make the baby more cranky and irritated. It is generally recommended that an infant must spend atleast 15-17 hours sleeping, but this is generic time and not in one go. Because there are short intervals of feeding, which results in breaking up of sleeping hours into shorter periods. Also, it is quite difficult to manage a baby to have continuous sleep during the night time because they only feed on milk, which is easily digested and hence they tend to be hungry , and their hunger for milk wakes them up, breaking their sleep. Which explains the reason for importance of tummy time, as it helps in making the baby more mobile and active. Having control over head and holding it up is all a natural process and often happens in the initial 6 months of an infants life. When do the babies hold up  their heads? In the initial days, the newborns does not have much muscle strength, which explains the shaky or jerked movements they adhere to. But however, the infant tends to develop strength in their muscle and thus will become more coordinated. Here is the gradual advancement an infant leads to, over ...

No one is perfect when it comes to babies and taking care of them, but everyone tries their best.  The main question that arises for parents is when these tiny tots wet their diapers or clothes for that sake. The question of concern is WHAT TO DO? IS KEEPING THE BABY IN WET DIAPER BAD?  In cases where a child poops, it is never recommended to leave the diaper for too long, because it may lead to skin rashes and irritation, so you better change it the moment you know about it. But nowadays with highly absorbent diapers ,one can consider to keep it on for a while (only in case where the baby has peed) that too if the baby is fast asleep, else you can change it whenever you seem like changing it.
